What is an AI visibility audit?

Is this the same as GEO?

GEO, generative engine optimisation, is the ongoing work of being cited by answer engines. The audit is where it starts: it measures where you stand today, in the answers and in the store, and ranks the fixes. The work that follows can be done by your team or by us.

How is it different from an SEO audit?

An SEO audit looks at rankings in classic search results. This audit looks at answers: what ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google’s AI answers say when your customers ask, which brands they name, and whether an AI agent can read your product data and buy. Some fixes overlap, like structured data and content crawlers can read; the questions being measured are different.

How long does it take?
